On March 13th, at about 5:22 AM, an unknown person shot a pet cat on the victim's property, which is on Creekwood Run (near Rockridge Road) north of Lakeland.

Security video shows the cat near the front gate...a single shot can be heard, and then a vehicle begins to accelerate away.

The cat was taken to a veterenarian with a spinal injury, but it had to be euthanized.
