It is our policy to investigate all complaints against the agency and our members and to maintain an Administrative Investigations Section which shall thoroughly, expeditiously, and impartially investigate all complaints - this includes anonymous complaints.
How a citizen can make a complaint:
By telephone, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., call one of our district offices (see the list below) if you know the area where the concern originated. For example, in south Lakeland, call the Southwest District Office. If it originated in one of our contract cities, contact the city Sheriff's Station listed below. You may also call the Sheriff's Operations Center at 863-298-6200, or the Administrative Investigations Section at 863-298-6506.

To request a copy of a closed Administrative Investigation report or the annual AI report, please contact our office at the above-listed numbers during normal business hours.
