On May 17, 1972, a male victim’s body was found approximately 500 yards east of the overpass off of US Hwy 17, south of the Eloise area of Winter Haven. He had been shot twice in the head. He’s described as 6’ tall, 180 lbs., with neatly cut brown hair, without teeth or dentures.
