Records Management Bureau
The Records Division, under the leadership of Ms. Mary Venrick, is housed within the PCSO Sheriff's Operations Center in Winter Haven, and is responsible for processing and reviewing all completed law enforcement reports to ensure compliance with the Uniform Crime Report and public records laws. Records personnel process all agency-issued citations, pawn tickets, photos, and ensure compliance with state archive procedures. They respond to public records requests and conduct local background checks.
Public Records Requests
PCSO offers online report requests to individuals and companies. To initiate the Public Records Request, please contact records for the necessary forms. Once the form is filled out simply send it to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Records Management Bureau by email: recordsrequest@polksheriff.org; in person at 1891 Jim Keene Blvd, Winter Haven, FL, 33880, or at any PCSO substation.

CIC/Warrants Administrative Unit
The CIC/Warrants Administrative Unit is located within the PCSO Sheriff's Operations Center, 1891 Jim Keene Blvd in Winter Haven. The main number to call is 863-298-6499. Members assigned to the unit perform functions to include arranging inmate transportation to and from Florida, as well as arranging inmate transportation within the state of Florida on those arrested on Polk County charges; entering and maintaining Domestic Relations Depository warrants and Juvenile Pick-Up Orders; and entering, confirming, validating, and removing warrants from the FCIC/NCIC system. This area is also responsible for the entry and maintenance of Probable Cause Arrest entries into FCIC/NCIC.
Alarm Control Compliance
The Alarm Control Compliance Unit is located within the PCSO Sheriff's Operations Center, 1891 Jim Keene Blvd in Winter Haven. The main number to call is 863-298-6614. The Alarm Control Compliance Office oversees and performs administrative, technical, and operational activities relevant of the county ordinance that regulates security alarms county wide. The office investigates and coordinates all activities required to ensure security alarm users within the unincorporated limits of Polk County comply with the county alarm ordinance. The office also analyzes law enforcement daily activities, reviews each alarm call to determine and calculate appropriate fines, issues written citations of violations, prepares and mails warning letters, creates and maintains a computer database, and testifies in court and at depositions.
