The suspect in this crime has been identified as 25-year old Demetrius Crawford, and he was charged with petit theft. The trike has not yet been located, so if anyone has any information about its location, please contact Detective Kelley at 863-499-2400 (Case #22-18465).

Detective Kelley from the Polk County Sheriff's Office is looking for a tricycle and a suspect. The suspect took an elderly woman's tricycle from where it was sitting next to her residence inside of the Bonny Shores Lakefront Community in Lakeland (just off of Longfellow Boulevard).

The trike was stolen on April 30th, between 6:00 - 6:30 p.m.

An image was obtained from a neighbor's security video which showed the suspect on the trike, but only from the rear. 

In addition to what is seen in the photo, a distinguishing detail about the trike is that it has a hole in the seat.
